Phew!! It's been an eventful last few days...So let us see how things go..

Yesterday nite I made Hakka noodles and it was delicious..in my first attempt..Not bad!! Am pleased with my efforts. Not planned anything yet for today..maybe chapatis..?

Also scouting around for tutor for Sriram..Hope to strike pay dirt soon..

Boring Day!

ok Time is as usual now abt 8.30..Suresh and Sriram have gone down for a walk. Suresh came home by 10.30 as expected last nite. He has brought lots of movies DVDs and so we saw Die Hard last nite. Today morning Daddy & Amma left to see Bombay Ma after breakfast of idlis and that new chutney mix I got yesterday from Haiko. Lunch was lots of leftover pitla and banana bhaji. Ditto it wud be for dinner as I do need to finish this off before making any more new dishes. Neways saw Golden Eye at lunchtime. Now let us see what he plans for dinner movie.

Similarly am waiting for him to plan when we cud go out and buy a new bigger frig. Hereon am not going to ask him any more things- let him take the decision!!

Was going thru the Indian Idol results..and am shocked to say the least. What kind of stupid audience do we have here in India?? Sexist??!! Prolly..given how the girls are being voted out...After Deepali's shocking vote out..today it is Puja's turn and I have no words to describe what am feeling.

Now am waiting for these 2 to come up fast so that we can eat dinner early and watch II and maybe after that some movie on the DVD.

Nothing special happening here otherwise. Very boring day!

The time is now 9.45 nite and am sitting here in my balcony watching the landing of the international flights coming in now...There is one plane landing here every 2-3 mts and it looks lovely the sight..!! I remember how I felt when my plane was landing here for the first time when I was returning to Bom from Singapore on my first holiday home. Those days it was a mixture of excitement and happiness..and the Last time I was here..I felt only a sense of dread and helplessness at my state..given how I was returning here without any choice.

Sriram was home past 3.45 from school today..he is OK...main problem is that he has got the wrong CCA and hence it does look as if I may have to go to school and discuss this with his teacher sometime next week. Hope we can change it.

Suresh called around noon today at lunch time to enquire abt the(Damn!) frig. Well..the stupid thing is behaving itself right now but..who knows?? I want to change it to a bigger and better one if possible..Let Suresh be the one to say so..From hereon,am not going to say anything to him. Nothing at all!! Silence is Golden! Let him learn to read from my silences what I want.

Time for me to again iron uniform for tomorrow morning..wake up early to send Sriram to school. Atleast,it is Friday..so day after tomorrow I may be able to sleep relaxed and wake up leisurely. Sat and Sunday cud be busy for me ofcourse..since Suresh will not be in a mood to go out anywhere and will choose to stay at home all day and evening long. As a result,I will have to slog it out in the kitchen and well...there's no respite for me then.

No chat with Yen today.no idea what happened. Maybe she cudnt logon today at work..unusual workload I guess.

Can hear some strange noise somewhere..cant make out what it is..where it is coming from..

OK...time to stop here. I am just writing something here to make it a point to be regular in this.
This way I will also know what I did when. My memory is getting very bad these days and putting things down on blog cud help things a bit!

Been out today a good deal. Morning went down for the bldg annual society lunch. Met surabhi boy who has changed tremondously...felt strange seeing him after so many yrs. Food was good..mixed veg and one paneer item in gravy as usual. Surprise package was the pulao and salad and the dessert of gulab jamuns which were delicious. Normally salads are so bland...but this time somehow it actually tasted crisp and nice!! Went to tailor in evening and got my kurti altered. That fellow did it for me at once and handed to me ready within 5 mts ...!! Gr8...!! Only regret...Yesterday in all that excitement I forgot to watch Brokeback Mountain on the TV...Too bad...!! Hope it shows again another day at a more leisurely hour when am free.

Also spoke to Suresh on chat a long time today. He was in Bangkok airport waiting to catch his flight to Singapore. Got his sms a while back after reaching Singapore..so all is well his end. Seems Sheela had called home a while back when Mom and I were away at tailors..She may call again later after checking in at airport. Looks like she and Suresh are gonna be there in Singapore same time..not sure if they cud meet though-given Suresh's hectic work schedule there this time. Anyway here I am now..finished eating dinner and sitting and waiting to hear from Sheela.

Hope we can also go back to Singapore very soon...Being here in Bom is really very depressing..Cant go out anywhere due to lack of proper transport etc. Dull life.

May plan to see Chak De in the next couple of days if we get tickets. Let us see how this works out.

Odd...woke up quite late today morning..but am ready to sleep again now..Feel tired and sleepy already..hehe..

OK...here I am sitting down to write something for today. Am at Daddy & Mummy's place today. Came down last nite..Still feeling a bit sleepy what with the dull and cloudy weather...heee! Plan to go to see my tailor later today abt altering some outfits of mine. Yesterday was eventful to the extent that I had to do a lot of cleaning all day long at home. Since coming here today am just trying to put up my feet and relax but what to do? There is this long pending trip to tailor..and if I dont go soon enuf that fellow's shop gets very crowded and it becomes difficult to communicate my requirements clearly to the main chappie. Might return home tomorrow as Sriram is keen to avoid missing a day at school besides the fact that 15th morning he wants to take part in the drawing competition with all his friends. No news from Suresh yet...so much for his assurances to send mail updates regularly on his tours. Have to yet compile my shopping list also for his Singapore leg of tour. Let us see..!! Wud think up something more to write here later. In short,today is a dull day..uneventful with nothing special happening here.

For Starters!

OK..this is my first attempt at writing something here. So I shall just put down some things of what happened Feeling very sleepy and tired from sitting up late last nite and ofcourse also as I was tied down with helping my son to finish his studies for his last tests being held today at school. As it is he has not been keeping too well..but I had to send him to school,nevertheless as these are exam times. Sriram,my son does not like to miss school during exams and so we both managed things fine. Suresh has left for Bangkok and Singapore tour last nite. Woke up atleast a couple of times to check on Sriram and see if he had any fever..but it was fine. Only once in between he showed signs of a mild fever,but I gave him meds and it came down soon thereafter.
Inspite of feeling sleepy,I cant rest as am not going to be peaceful until he comes home from school and gives me an update of how his tests went. Looking forward to his return from school so that post lunch we can both get some much needed sleep and rest. So tired..!!! OK...today is last Friday of Aadi month,so got to do some serious pooja also. Wud write more later.
